Lesson #2--Golden Rule with a twist

What others want and need is not necessarily what I want or need. Treating others how I would want to be treated in a certain situation is not always the best. Rather, it would be better for me to be perceptive and sensitive to how they would want to be treated in that situation, and treat them accordingly.

I was thinking about this very point yesterday! That is a mark of a mature person - someone who doesn't need everyone to think and feel and he/she does. I just hope I can develop my sensitivity and perceptions to act more in accordance with other's needs/wants.

One thing I've learned is that the only way we can truly perceive what another person wants/needs/thinks is through the Spirit.
